Transmitter:

It can be mounted on the hot shoe of the camera or connected to the PC socket of the camera with the cord supplied. Using a PC socket connection (if your camera has one) allows simultaneous use of a hot shoe-mounted flash unit and off-camera flashes with this set. There's a test button on the top of the transmitter for test firing. I was looking to replace a faulty Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord and came across this product which was half the price as the original. And guess what - it's works exactly as good.

Canon OC-E3 Compatible Off Camera Shoe Cord Overview

The JJC FC-E3 Off Camera Shoe Cord is a direct replacement for the Canon OC-E3. It can help to avoid harsh shadow behind your subjects using direct flashgun exposures.

Connect the Canon Speedlite flash unit on one end of the TTL cord and the other end is mounted to Hot Shoe unit of EOS camera. The cord can be stretched to up to 60cm away from the camera.

The tripod socket on one end of the FC-C3 allows the Canon Speedlite flash to be locked onto a tripod.
