Transmitter:

It can be mounted on the hot shoe of the camera or connected to the PC socket of the camera with the cord supplied. Using a PC socket connection (if your camera has one) allows simultaneous use of a hot shoe-mounted flash unit and off-camera flashes with this set. There's a test button on the top of the transmitter for test firing. The transmitter is powered by a small 12V alkaline battery.Receiver:It has a mounting bracket which fits into a traditional flash stand, with a ¼-20 threaded hole for mounting on a light stand or tripod. An adjusting knob allows the receiver to tilt on the bracket, with detents at straight up and 45 degree forward and backward positions (It can be tightened in any position +/- 90 degrees from vertical). There's a hot shoe for mounting a flash unit on the top of the receiver, and there's a small on/off switch and a small LED light on the front of the unit. The back of the receiver snaps off to reveal the battery compartment and two dip switches for channel selection. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries .100% brand new. 1 year warranty.
